Read on to know how to pick the right weight loss diet plan, and how to stay on course.<br/><br/>The term â€˜planâ€™ itself denotes preparing and goal setting. It involves a highly structured, well-organized schedule of meals and food combinations you must adhere to on a stringent basis; otherwise the quick weight loss diet plan falls apart. Diets, despite their variations, all have common ground upon which each of their systems is based.<br/><br/>Diet Plan # 1: Ditch the Junk Foods.<br/><br/>Junk food is the first to go. Think of the undertaking as a challenge to be met and overcome, rather than treating it like a prison sentence.<br/><br/>If you go on a diet halfheartedly, fretting over the things you will be forced to give up, you will only set yourself up for failure and disappointment. Instead, set a reasonable and attainable goal and timeframe, something youâ€™re sure to achieve, and then reward yourself afterward.<br/><br/>Having a sense of accomplishment is a great way to stay motivated and determined to see this through. For this, the ideal diet would be a more flexible one, like the Mayo Clinic Plan, which puts more emphasis on eating healthy choices â€” like having your fill of unlimited fruits and veggies â€” than eliminating unhealthy ones. This plan lowers cholesterol levels and blood pressure, and cuts down the risk for heart, disease, diabetes, and some forms of cancer.<br/><br/>Diet Plan # 2: Just Say No.<br/><br/>If you get sidetracked and find yourself indulging a wee bit more than usual (read: cheating), do not abandon your quick weight loss diet plan altogether, simply because you feel you are no longer consistent.<br/><br/>Just make up for your mistake by eating twice as healthily as before. Remove temptation from your life (and your pantry!). Do your grocery shopping on a full stomach so you do not feel compelled to grab every snack in sight. Stock up instead on healthier alternatives, like whole grain foods.<br/><br/>Know the difference between a craving and real, honest-to-goodness hunger. When you hear that jelly doughnut a-calling, imagine yourself eating some other kind of food, like chicken, for instance. If youâ€™re really hungry, youâ€™ll want to eat whatever food comes to your mind. If anything other than that jelly doughnut seems like a bad idea, then what you have is a craving that must be ignored.<br/><br/>Eat smaller portions more frequently, about every three hours, because when you allow yourself to get hungry, it will be that much difficult to suppress your appetite and you will have a tendency to overeat.<br/><br/>Diet Plan # 3: Take Your Pick.<br/><br/>If you prefer a more rigid and quicker weight loss diet plan, try the famous South Beach Diet. It has three phases, the first of which takes two weeks long and is the most restrictive. Its specific menus do away with most of the carbohydrates you know and love, like bread, pasta, sugar, and alcohol, making it a seemingly difficult diet to hurdle. The Atkins Plan, on the other hand, provides three meals and one snack a day. It focuses on eating lean meat and eggs, and like the South Beach Diet, targets carbohydrates first.<br/><br/>The ideal would be to shed one to two pounds a week. Anything more than that would be too risky as it isnâ€™t just unwanted fat you may be losing, but all-important muscle tissue as well. This is why exercise and physical activity are just as essential to quick weight loss as eating right, because building muscle helps to burn all those calories away.<br/><br/>There are many other quick weight loss diet plans in existence, precisely because there is no single diet that will work for everyone. Whether low-fat, low-carb, protein-rich, all-vegetarian, or whatnot, it is still up to you to decide which plan you think will suit you best. And remember, when in doubt, always consult your physician first.<br/><br/><br/><br/></div>

Six months later you have tried so many quick weight loss fixes and given up so you are still at your overweight state. Not exactly quick weight loss now is it!<br/><br/>Â <br/><br/>I know this from first hand experience, time and time again. Before I know it a whole year has passed and I still have not lost any weight even though I have spent money on many quick weight loss fixes!<br/><br/>Â <br/><br/><strong>Why Losing Weight Slowly Is The Way To Go</strong><br/><br/>Â <br/><br/>Now that we&#8217;ve established that quick weight loss is not the best way to go, let&#8217;s look at why losing 1-2 lb a week is actually the &#8220;new&#8221; quick weight loss for women routine.<br/><br/>Â <br/><br/>You see giving yourself enough calories to live off will give you a slow steady weight loss which is much more manageable to stick to and attain. After all you can eat a good amount of food plus have treats such as wine and the odd pizza slice etc.. This is just so much more natural making it much more achievable to stick to it and lose 1-2lb week.<br/><br/>Â <br/><br/>You still have to watch what you eat and go down the healthy route with plenty of fruit, vegetables and fibre, but you can also fit in foods you like so you won&#8217;t cheat.<br/><br/>Â <br/><br/>So in the same six months you are much more likely to be able to stick to the higher calorie diet with a slower weight loss and be able to reach your goal. As opposed to keep trying quick fix fads which are practically humanly impossible to stick to so you give up and you are back to square one.<br/><br/>Â <br/><br/>I finally realised this a few months ago when I was still 21lbs overweight after being on a &#8216;diet&#8217; for about two years! So I set a target of losing only 1lb a week. This was so easy to stick to by being able to have the odd glass of red wine and a few treats. I ate healthy most of the week and introduced some exercise in the form of swimming. I am now half way to losing my 21lb but if I had stuck to my quick weight loss diet fads, I would still be 21lb overweight!<br/><br/><br/><br/><a href='http://dietmotivationtips.com/fit-over-40'>Fit Over 40</a></div>

This is seldom a good idea, for several reasons. First, super quick weight loss necessitates following such a restrictive diet that the dieter is more than likely to feel deprived &#8211; indeed, he or she has an excellent reason for feeling this way!<br/><br/>A diet very low in calories is unlikely to provide adequate nutrition, so it leaves you feeling hungry, deprived and resentful. People have different reactions to this; some rebel, while others are convinced that they don&#8217;t deserve to eat normally and that they&#8217;ll never be able to, without gainin weight. In other words, crash diets set the stage for future eating disorders.<br/><br/>Also, very quick weight loss seldom stays off. That&#8217;s because most people&#8217;s bodies tend to have two metabolism &#8217;settings&#8217;, probably left over from those of early humans. When food is plentiful, it is consumed as needed, and the excess is stored in the form of fat. But when food is scarce (like during a restrictive diet) your body is convinced that it&#8217;s going through a &#8216;famine&#8217; time, and metolism slows down to conserve energy.<br/><br/>If you&#8217;re after quick weight loss, that&#8217;s the last thing that you want, of course. And after you start to eat normally again, your body might still think that it&#8217;s in a famine and needs to hold on to every bit of energy it can. In fact, some chronic dieters succeed in permanently slowing down their metabolism to the point where they end up gaining more weight than they ever lost in the first place. That&#8217;s because lost muscle weight can sometimes be replaced by an equal volume of fat.<br/><br/>The real key to quick weight loss, therefore, is not cutting calories but increasing activity so that you burn more of them more quickly. Consider the fact that ballet dancers can lose up to five pounds in a single performance &#8211; now that&#8217;s quick weight loss! Of course, most of us will never be active enough to lose weight that quickly, but certainly a daily workout, long or short, can help get you on the road to quick weight loss. An exercise program coupled with watching what you eat is absolutely optimal in allowing you to lose weight fast. Don&#8217;t be tempted by gimmicks or pills, though; at best, they are likely to be waste of money, and at worst, they can be downright dangerous.<br/><br/><br/><br/></div>
