No, he means no unprocessed foods, no high fructose corn syrup, no msg. Add whole wheats to your diet so that your body actually digest the carbs you eat. Good fats are often known as legumes, or nuts like peanuts, almonds, etc. Good proteins include lean meats (if you’re a meat-eater), more legumes :3, anything natural and wholesome, and not the 3g of proteins you get from a serving of doritos.
when i’m wight training in the gym..after that i have to eat ..like i’m starving.. so i gain weight!
after cardio, i don’t have to eat and i feel better..
i’m doing cardio for about 4 years now..and it’s yo yo effect.. i loose weight..then i stop to do cardio, i gain back weight.. 4 years now..
ok i dont understand if we can cut our calories in half the what are we suppose to eat to keep them up to 2000 or more , a whole basket of fruit and veggies?! what the hell !?
Thanks- keep up the good work in providing info that either corrects or is a counter-point (especially in a nice way) I looked at Dr. Mercola’s site and I’ll read up on it more.
Coconut oil and Palm Oil are VERY good for you. They were in all commercial baked goods before hydrogenation was invented. They are stable fats, and are good for your immune system and are also used immediately for energy. Lauric acid destroys the fat envelope around the HIV virus (can also kill mono) Hydrogenation is used because it was extremely cheap to use polyunsaturated vegetable oils in processed foods.
wow awesome stuff! i’m one of those guys who goes to his college gym every day and goes mad on the treadmill then comes back after Christmas break with everything i lost! i avoided weight training because people were telling me that it was counter productive but i might try weight training after my 20 minutes on the treadmill
It’s simple. High protein, Moderate good fats, low carbs, 30 minutes cardio 5 days a week with weight training. Do this until you get are happy with your bodyfat loss. Remember 1 to 2 days a week carb cycle, oatmeal, brown rice, potatoes for one meal. Once you reach your goals, you can do moderate carbs, low to moderate fats, high protein. Hope this helps.
You have me rethinking my 90 min spin classes Sean. Here I was just thinking that I am hitting a plateau when actually I am spiking my Cortisol levels and burning off muslce. Geez Louise! All that huffing and puffing.
